Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.
Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Service1. Conducts appropriate pre-anesthetic assessments, and document findings.2. In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic planof management, manages all aspects of anesthesia care to include preoperative,perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
3. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.4. Provides airway management and / or intubations for emergent, non-emergent, andresuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
5. Anticipates and exceeds patients and customers' expectations that meet allelements of the Henry Ford Experience.6. Identifies services and care improvement ideas and act on them to create excellentcustomer experiences.
