Installation Technician
Install, program, and certify security systems globally, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing quality customer service.
Pay : Starts at $28 / hr
Responsibilities :
- Install, program, and certify security systems
- Conduct wiring, hardware installation, and device termination.
- Test and maintain systems, replacing faulty hardware as needed.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications for installation procedures.
- Effectively communicate with employees and customers
Qualifications :
- Experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch)
- Experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch)
- Experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
- Basic computer knowledge
- Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record that meets ECC’s driving standard
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Basic understanding of networking, computers, and IT preferred.
- Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders or scaffolding
Education / Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of commercial security install experience
Physical Requirements :
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
