Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to manage billing and collection activities in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Manage billing and collection activities for medical, pharmacy, or durable medical equipment services

Collaborate with customers and personnel to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate claims processing

Utilize Windows-based software to maintain and organize billing records

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in finance, business, or healthcare-related fields with one year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma / GED with at least three years of experience in billing and collections

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet navigation

Experience with claims management software is a plus

Keyboarding skills are essential
