We are currently looking for a Route Driver Helper to join our facility in Urbana and Normal, IL.

Job Summary

Route Helper performs a general labor position, with moderate lifting, and consistent / repetitive actions. There will be sitting, standing and getting in and out of the truck all day.

Major Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company’s safety plan
• Assist the route driver with recycling collection
• Will grab toters and dumpsters to bring them to the truck for dumping
• Cleaning around dumpster areas as needed.
• Communicate with shredding department at the end of day with route information
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be able to lift / push 50-100 pounds
• Must be able to perform consistent / repetitive actions in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to climb in and out of the truck as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
