Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students in the Lyme, CT area?
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated K-12 Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Engage with families and provide guidance to support student development.
Qualifications :
- Valid Connecticut teaching license for Special Education (PK-12).
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students and staff.
