Description
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Sales Assistant and Customer Care Coordinator Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
Sales Assistant :
- Support the sales team with administrative and some transactional tasks.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on leads and customer inquiries.
- Distributes Monthly Price Adjustments Letters to Customers (coordinated by Product Managers)
- Assists the Account Managers with Call Reports and our Central Repository.
- Assist in Summarizing Contracts and tracking expiration dates and other key elements.
- Coordinates and Maintains Customer Contact Lists with the Account Managers.
- Responsible for Maintaining the Competitive Intelligence Matrix and share positions by customers by producer.
- Works with the Market Communication Manager to target specific market
segment-specific communications (mailouts) as needed.
- Assist the Account Managers with planning and scheduling customer events and conferences.
- Generate sales reports and analytics as needed to support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate freight rate requests on behalf of the account managers.
- Supports Account Managers with Customer Profile research and end-use application verification by customers.
Customer Care Coordinator Trainee
The Customer Care Coordinator Trainee works closely with the Customer Care Team and develops as a back-up Customer Care Coordinator.
On a Day-to-Day basis, the ALTIVIA Customer Care Trainee will :
- Drives the Clean-up of Customer Master information in Chempax.
- Maintains Account Assignment and Market Segment Designations, in Chempax on behalf of Account Managers.
- Will assist in updating and organizing the repository for our Customer On-Boarding Process. This will include coordination of missing information with the Customer Care Team and the Account Managers.
- Learns the Order to Cash Process and supports some order placement transactions.
- Receive and enter incoming order requests from customers or the Customer Care Manager.
- Helps track carrier performance and report KPIs to Supply Chain & Logistics
- Supports multiple customer care tasks as needed.
- Administrative duties with little or no supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years Customer Service experience within the Chemicals Industry preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and good interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player who performs well in a fast-paced work environment
- Critical thinker with ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Strong, intermediate knowledge of MS Office & Excel
