Electrical Design and PLC Software using Ladder Logic is essential.

Senior Automation Design Engineer - The Role :
- Electrical wiring design and programming
- PLC & HMI programming using Ladder Logic and Industrial communication protocols
- TCP / IP & Modbus HMI animated graphical representation programming
- Occasional site visits for commissioning
- Control panel testing and electrical fault finding for bespoke projects
- Providing remote support for Commissioning Engineers through TeamViewer
- Electrical circuit design & calculations
- AutoCAD LT drafting - mechanical, equipment layout, circuit diagrams, drawing standards & document control
- Responsible for another Engineer and Apprentice
- Providing technical guidance and support alongside assisting the workshop to ensure products and panels are manufactured to spec
Senior Automation Design Engineer - The Person :
- HNC Qualified
- 5 years within the building services or industrial automation sector
- Experience with Schneider PLC, HMI, and Drives beneficial
- Must be innovative and have a proven track record of the design and development of machinery automation projects
- Team player with the desire to succeed
Located on the South Coast, this role would be commutable from Poole, Bournemouth, and Ringwood.
