Department Position Summary :
The Executive Assistant- Sr. VP performs a wide range of secretarial functions to assist the SVP of Strategic Planning and Business Development.
Assist the SVP in planning, organizing, and coordinating his / her activities. Accepts and completes assignments in a timely manner.
Exercises initiative and judgment, and makes decisions within the scope of assigned authority. Provides secretarial support for the three staff members that report to the SVP and other secretarial duties as required for the department, i.
e., ordering supplies, etc. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Having the ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information is an integral portion of the position.
Ability to manage and coordinate the SVP's schedule. Highly dependable and punctual in completing assignments. Utilizes diplomacy with the understanding that everyone is a customer.
Ability to work under stress and work in an environment with frequent interruptions. Proficient with a variety of personal computer software applications including Microsoft Office and should also be proficient in the use of all standard office equipment.
