Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Waterproofing Helper to join our construction team for custom home projects in Beverly Hills and Pacific Palisades, CA.

This is a temporary position lasting about two months, with the potential for future opportunities based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the application of waterproofing materials to various surfaces, including foundations, walls, and roofs.
• Prepare surfaces for waterproofing by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Use a hammer and metal spatula to apply and smooth waterproofing compounds.
• Ensure all materials are applied evenly and according to specifications.
• Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in construction.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, including a hammer, tape measure, and metal spatula.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Beverly Hills and Pacific Palisades.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No specific waterproofing experience required.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a non-climate controlled environment. The project locations include Beverly Hills, CA and Pacific Palisades, CA.

The first wave of hires does not require personal tools, but subsequent hires will need to bring tools such as a hammer, metal spatula, tape measure, utility knife, and work boots (soft toe is acceptable).
