What You'll Do :
- Lead a classroom of toddlers, guiding them through critical developmental milestones.
- Design and implement engaging, play-based educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Create a nurturing, creative, and safe environment for toddlers to explore and grow.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily progress and developmental milestones.
- Mentor and support assistant teachers and staff within the classroom.

Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as active toddlers often need lifting and assistance.

- Energetic and able to keep up with active toddlers throughout the day.

Requirements :
Desired Skills and Qualifications :
- Meeting the basic requirements of your local childcare regulatory agency.
- A dash of previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program would be a cherry on top.
- Flex those muscles, as you should be able to lift up to 35 lbs and handle infants with TLC.

- Keep the center and licensing requirements in tiptop shape, always.
- Follow DHHS guidelines for training like a champ.
- Be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Sail smoothly through a Nebraska Child and Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check.
- Pass a background check and hop on the Nebraska State Patrol fingerprinting rollercoaster (figuratively, of course).
As for the moolah, your pay rate will be a fabulous mix of your experience, your role, and whether you've got any degrees (though they're like sprinkles on the ice cream, not mandatory).
