KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of industrial tools and fastening solutions. We are seeking a talented District National Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX (remote role).

Starting at $65,000 - $75,000 annually +commission

Basic Function :

With the National Account Manager, manage the large national accounts, including large distributors, Direct Buying Groups, Chains, and Co-ops, to meet or exceed the annual sales plan within an assigned region.

Effectively manage strategic relationships to maximize sales and profitability, build the brand, and minimize conflict. Create an environment that encourages enhanced performance.

Participate in and lead projects for organizational advancement.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manage executive-level relationships by proactively communicating with personnel.
  • Routinely communicate promotions and show specials to the PTD Regional Managers.
  • With the National Account Team, create promotional programs to grow sales and gross profit dollars. Effectively communicate needs to the organization.
  • Perform various financial activities, pro forma, profitability, etc., to support profitable sales, programs, and promotions.
  • Complete assigned projects consistent with the requirements and on time.
  • Develop territory plans and participate in strategic and tactical Planning.
  • Works with clients to cultivate future projects and qualify new opportunities.
  • Planning and executing cross-functional promotional activity.
  • Attend and participate in large bi-annual trade shows, with a key objective to network and grow sales.
  • Implement new programs and product placements at warehouse and field levels.
  • Work with local sales teams to identify opportunities, quantify customers' needs, and develop and execute strategic business plans to convert key categories.
  • Analyze and present financial solutions for conversions from competitive brands.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams to help them become accustomed to newly launched categories.
  • Offer tailored solutions to customers' needs through sales presentations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree is preferred.
  • Candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface, network, and build rapport with diverse groups within the organization.
  • Should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills. Diplomacy, sales and negotiating skills, creativity, and tact are critical competencies required for this position.
  • Have demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to direct long-term operational and strategic planning activities and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key account relationships effectively.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years direct sales experience, selling to regional and national accounts in the building products industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage key account relationships.
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills.
  • Able to operate cross-functionally within multiple company organizations.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, change management and program management skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management ability.
  • 75% of the time able to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to sit in a car for up to 6 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to stand for more than 6 hours at a time when working trade shows.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must reside in assigned territory.
  • Must be able to do overnight trips 50% of the time.
