Client Overview :
Our client is a leading organization in the Personal care industry. They are seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to enhance the team.
Salary / Hourly Rate :
$20 / hr $25 / hr DOE
Position Overview :
As a Lab Technician, you will conduct routine laboratory experiments, maintain accurate records, and work closely with various departments.
With a strong understanding of basic chemistry laboratory procedures and meticulous attention to detail, the Lab Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory.
Responsibilities for the Lab Technician :
- Preparing formulas and batches following specific protocols.
- Conducting standard laboratory tests including setting up and operation of various lab equipment.
- Preparing, labeling, and managing stock solutions and reagents for experiments.
- Performing calibration and maintenance of instruments for precise results.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Assisting in the development and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lab activities.
- Following safety protocols to ensure a tidy and safe lab environment.
Qualifications for the Lab Technician :
- Academic background in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
