About The Position
ID : 51636681 Shift : Unknown Description : The Contractor shall provide one (1) DRT / CT Technologist who can deliver a full spectrum of services in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) White River Junction VA Medical Center (WRJ VAMC) located at 215 N.
Main Street, White River Junction, VT 05009.General Duties / have two (2) year s experience with the understanding of advanced DRT / CT applications.
Technologists must have knowledge of anatomy and physiology including location, appearance, and functioning of the major and minor systems susceptible to radiographic illumination and knowledge of changes to systems and organs caused by common medical and surgical diseases.
Technologists must accurately operate a wide variety of imaging equipment to obtain examinations of acceptable quality. This includes but is not limited to : Fluoroscopic and General Diagnostic exams, Portable Radiography, Portable Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography exams, Angio procedures, Operating Room and all other duties assigned.
Hours of Performance : The contractor will provide one (1) FTEE DRT / CT Technologist to WRJ VAMC. FTEE is defined by VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does not include holidays.
Current tour for DRT / CT night coverage is as 1 : 35 hours-Thursday : 8 : 00pm to 7 : 00am-Friday : 8 : 00pm to 8 : 00am-Saturday : 8 : 00pm to 8 : 00amWeek 2 : 45 hours-Wednesday : 8 : 00pm to 6 : 00am-Thursday : 8 : 00pm to 7 : 00am-Friday : 8 : 00pm to 8 : 00am-Saturday : 8 : 00pm to 8 : 00amOccupational Health TestingMMR vaccine or titerHep B vaccine or titerVaricella vaccine or titerTB skin test, bloodwork, or Chest X-rayFlu shotACELLULAR PERTUSSIS : Contractors shall provide proof of 1 dose of Tdap vaccination for all Contractor technologist(s).
