Role Overview : Data Analytics / Risk and Control Manager

As a Data Analytics / Risk and Control Manager , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data and technology controls within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and monitoring of data standards, driving organizational change, and managing risk and control processes across various business units.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership in Data Controls : Lead the implementation and ongoing monitoring of data controls and technology controls, ensuring alignment with group data standards and tooling initiatives.
  • Program Management : Drive medium-scale program implementations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with rigorous adherence to standards.
  • Organizational Change Management : Identify structural issues within the organization, manage functional interdependencies, and eliminate cross-silo redundancies.

Lead change initiatives to optimize organizational efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management : Engage with senior stakeholders across business and IT / Data functions, effectively communicating complex issues and influencing decision-making processes.
  • Analytical Expertise : Apply strong analytical skills to assess risk and control mechanisms, utilizing your critical thinking to resolve complex issues under pressure.
  • IT / Data Planning : Develop and monitor IT / data plans with a strong focus on standardization, rigor, and structured methodologies.

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 7+ years of experience in business management or risk / control roles, with 5-7+ years of relevant experience in the banking field being advantageous.
  • Implementation Expertise : Proven experience in leading the implementation and monitoring of data controls and technology controls, conducting periodic assessments, and reporting statuses.
  • Program Implementation : Experience in driving medium program implementations and adhering to group data standards.
  • Organizational Change : Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, recognizing structural issues, and managing interdependencies and redundancies.
  • Stakeholder Management : Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders across business and IT / Data functions.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical background with a proven ability to apply analytical rigor to risk and control processes.

Desired Skills :

  • Project Management : Strong project management skills with experience in risk and control deliveries.
  • Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Excel, Macros, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Confluence, and visualization tools.
  • Certifications : Knowledge of CISA, CISM, CRISC, COBIT, or ITIL is desirable.

Compensation :

  • Full-Time Employee (FTE) : $130,000 per annum
  • Contract to Hire (C2C) : Up to $70 per hour

Location :

  • Primary location : Fort Collins, CO
  • Optional locations : Chicago, NYC, Buffalo, Jersey City
