Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Hyannis, Massachusetts (Cape Cod) – Access to outdoor recreation, local shops, and cultural attractions

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Healthcare Setting : Medical / Surgical Telemetry – Float Pool

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 3, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour rotating nights (7pm-7 : 30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays; float between units as needed

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Massachusetts

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience in an acute care hospital

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Telemetry nursing experience required

Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date

Strong communication skills and proficiency in nursing informatics

Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), ACLS certification, cardiac patient management experience, and specialty certifications (Oncology, Ortho, Dialysis, etc.)

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Administer medications and monitor patient responses

Guide and direct patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary staff

Maintain accurate and current patient records

Document comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning

Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education

Demonstrate proficiency as charge nurse and in nursing informatics

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospital standards

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
