Medical Billing Specialist

Vaco Staffing is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for a contract to hire role! Hybrid Position. 40 hours per week

Job responsibilities include :

Prepare and submit medical insurance claims accurately and compliantly.

Assign medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes.

Track payments, resolve billing issues, and ensure timely reimbursement.

Requirements include :

• Proficiency in medical billing software and understanding of billing procedures.
• Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and insurance claim processes.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
