  • Location : Clinton, Maryland (20735) – Greater Washington, D.C. area\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract\n
  • Start Date : December 1, 2025\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650-$1770\n
  • Clinical Setting : Neuro ICU (float to IMC, Med / Surg, or Telemetry as needed)\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 in ICU; 1 : 4 in IMC\n
  • Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per contract)\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n
  • Scrubs : Hunter Green (not provided)\n
  • Parking : Free on-site parking\n

    • \n\nICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required)\n
  • Experience with telemetry, ventilators, and acute stroke / CVA management\n
  • Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting\n
  • Ability to float to Med / Surg, Telemetry, or IMC units as needed\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
  • Two supervisor references required\n
  • Comfortable with every other weekend and holiday coverage\n

    • \n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Neuro ICU\n
  • Manage patients with complex conditions : multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, CVA / seizures, STEMI / NSTEMI, DKA, and more\n
  • Utilize advanced ICU nursing skills : ventilator management, telemetry, arterial and central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, emergency interventions\n
  • Float to IMC, Med / Surg, or Telemetry units as required, ensuring patient safety and quality care\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams\n
  • Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR\n
  • Adhere to infection prevention protocols and hospital policies\n
  • Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start\n
