Assistant Construction Project Manager (Fast Track To PM)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support the successful delivery of projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution across all phases.
  • Ensure designs meet technical standards and compliance requirements.
  • Help manage subcontractors and monitor their progress and deliverables.
  • Oversee project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the Project Manager in maintaining quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Essential Skills

  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency with construction and project management software.
  • Experience with project scheduling and budgeting.
  • Understanding of the construction process.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Documentation skills, including handling RFI and change orders.
  • Experience in commercial construction management.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience in technical design review and documentation is a plus.

    • Work Environment

    Ground-up commercial construction work site.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a contract to hire position based out of Lake County Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00 / hr.
