Locations : Kent, WA (Schools may vary depending on needs)
Pay : We accept local and travel applicants (packages available). Hourly rate is dependent on experience and whether candidate is 1099 (LLC only) or W2 employee.
Job Description :
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech & Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This contract position involves providing coverage for openings, personal and maternity leaves, etc. across various locations.
As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and addressing speech and language issues that impact student learning and educational performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate and address speech and language impairments, including stuttering, voice disorders, language impairments, and impaired articulation.
Provide therapy for :
Expressive language issues
Receptive language issues
Phonological issues
Articulation issues
Pragmatic language issues
Voice issues and speech fluency issues
Design and implement consultative services for students.
Develop strategies to incorporate assistive technology to support student learning.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid WA state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience working with students with speech and language impairments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to design and implement effective therapy and intervention plans.
