Personal Care Assistant with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license needed for a sweet female client in Brentwood, CA.

Must speak Spanish and be able to work 12-hour shifts . Starting pay between $19-20 / hour.

Right at Home West LA based on 14th Street in Santa Monica provides non-medical home care. Duties may include helping them dress, meal preparation, bathing, helping them walk from one area to another, medication reminders, and / or companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening).

You may drive clients to a doctors appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities / Duties)

Personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to) :

• Provide companionship and safety in client's home
• Personal hygiene (assisting in the bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation / Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing / Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to) : vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom
• And more.

Who YOU are :

• You have your CNA license and your Home Care Aide license
• You speak Spanish fluently
• You have a caring heart for the elderly and want to make a difference in their lives
• You enjoy being a companion to an elderly person, help them prepare meals, take walks with them, help keep the house tidy, and give them a reason to smile every day
• You are reliable and a great communicator
• You have a recent TB test and are CPR certified. Click here for details on how to get any of these items. (If you don't have your Home Care Aide license you must be willing to get it, this will require a background check)

We offer competitive pay ( Between $19 to 20 / hour) and a comprehensive bonus program that you'll really love. If you wish, can make a lot of extra income! Other shifts range from 4 to 12 hours per day, we have shifts in Brentwood, Santa Monica, Malibu, Inglewood, Torrance, Los Angeles, etc.

All the way south to Long Beach and north to Woodland Hills / Canoga park. Right at Home offers our caregivers flexible schedules including days, overnights and weekends.
