POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a highly-skilled, compassionate, and DODD-Certified Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Med Certification to join our home health agency in a PRN / As Needed capacity to provide care and services to DODD clients in Portsmouth, OH and surrounding areas.

About the role + what we offer :

• This is a PRN / As Needed position, which has varying hours and shifts week to week, with the possibility of some weeks having no hours at all.
• Critical Qualifications :

DODD DSP Certification is required , with 1+ years DODD client care experience.

A successful Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides Home Health aide and care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist in their region. You will be assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professionals and perform services for clients as necessary to maintain personal comfort and safety in their home.

DSP Starting Pay Rates : $18 - $19.50 per hour

Report to : RN Case Manager / Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS :

Additional certification (CNA, STNA, CHHA) is desirable but not required.
