Account Director

Location : New York (Remote) or Dallas (Hybrid)

Reports to : Senior Account Director

Direct Reports : No

As an Account Director , you will be responsible for leading client satisfaction and managing revenue streams for one or more large accounts as well as a portfolio that includes smaller accounts.

Your role will include expansion of these high growth accounts, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of campaigns.

You will have proven experience of building trusting client relationships and have strong financial and organizational skills.

You will have experience working closely with internal agency teams to formulate bespoke and innovative solutions to our clients’ business challenges, in a commercially viable way.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will be a key client contact across your portfolio of accounts, building strong relationships on large key accounts
  • Understand client objectives, challenges, and industry trends to develop tailored digital marketing strategies that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue growth and maximize client lifetime value.
  • In collaboration with our internal experts, develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives, leveraging a deep understanding of digital channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal teams to execute strategic initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and innovation.

What you’ll bring

  • An in-depth understanding of Digital Marketing (inc. SEO, PPC, media, social, content, measurement and digital research) and how they are used to achieve different goals
  • Evidence of previous success in a digital agency account management role at an Account Director or Account Supervisor level
  • Proven experience in developing strong and trusting client relationships
  • Exceptional commercial acumen
  • Experience working collaboratively with different business teams
  • Ability to communicate across all business levels
  • First class writing and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Passionate about digital marketing with a natural curiosity to learn more
  • Previous experience working for health and wellness clients is preferred
