Job Description :
May manage or supervise a small group. Proactively monitor and remediate incoming data used in risk measurement and reporting.
Ensure the completeness, validity, and accuracy of data on a daily basis. Work with business data users to define the use of data within risk systems.
Work closely with technology to ensure the timely and accurate operation of risk models and reporting systems. Implement effective risk controls of our data processes and systems.
Participate in user acceptance testing of data control processes. Work with other groups as needed, including Middle Office, Sales and Trading, Technology, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Enterprise Capital Management to ensure effective controls over data for GMRM.

Credit Risk Data Management is responsible for ensuring data is accurate, timely, and complete with appropriate controls and documentation to support Credit Risk management and related Credit Risk data reporting and analysis needs and use cases.
The Data Support Sr Analyst role will be responsible for alignment, adoption, and sustainable adherence to data management policies, standards, and best-in-class practices with specific focus on metadata, lineage, controls, data testing, and governance.
This role covers all of Credit Risk and works in partnership with peers in Global Risk, Technology, CFO, Lines of Business, Audit, and Compliance to support key deliverables for integrated Credit Risk data management capabilities.
The Data Support Senior Analyst is responsible to :
Assist in the capture, mapping, maintenance and publishing of Credit Risk technical and business metadata, data flows, controls, lineage, and transformations.
Ensure sustainable data management processes are established in a repeatable manner for consumption by Credit Risk Platform stakeholders and users.
Assist in coordination and execution of data testing for Credit Risk data platforms and facilitate related data testing with upstream data providers for pass-through data.
This includes providing technical and business metadata, lineage, controls, and ad-hoc analysis in a timely, and repeatable manner.
- Perform as the data management subject matter expert (SME) for Credit Risk metadata, data flows, lineage, controls, transformations, and governance to ensure data incident and ad hoc data management requests are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide guidance and support to the Credit Risk Data Domain Manager and Data Steward Executives in the execution of their tasks as well as collaborate with business and technology partners to develop, expand, and operationalize Credit Risk Data Management capabilities
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience in data management, risk management, data analytics, data modeling, or data governance role
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and execution skills needed to perform complex data analysis
- Demonstrated success driving results as a self-directed, proactive individual contributor
- Able to influence business and technology functions while working in a matrixed work environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure and garner consensus from multiple partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to transform complex concepts into simple and easy to understand presentations and target messaging to diverse audiences
- Results oriented with demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum to quickly develop subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issues
Desired Skills :
- Familiarity with Risk Management, Finance, or regulatory reporting processes
- Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Management
- Knowledge of credit systems and processes is a plus
- Basic SQL, Excel, or related data analysis tool skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Proficient with project management deliverables and effective liaison between business and technology.
- Business knowledge of credit products and data / risk drivers
