Who Should Apply : We are seeking a full-time maintenance technician who is experienced, energetic, friendly, and highly self-motivated.
The position requires an individual who can execute quality work in a timely manner with or without direct supervision, while positively contributing to the team atmosphere created by our staff.
Compensation : Starting at $23 - $28 per hour depending on experience Cell phone and gas allowance ($100 per month / $1,200 per year) Eligible for Simple IRA retirement plan with Employer Match up to 3% Three weeks of Paid Time Off 7 Paid Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day).
Bonus Opportunities Eligible for healthcare & dental benefits Duties and Responsibilities : Work Orders / Maintenance Requests Unit Turns / Make Ready Regular Building Inspections Participate in On-Call Rotation - Paid at time and a half Skills Required : Plumbing - Sweat / solder pipe, toilet flush valves, faucets, dipsosals, shut-of valves, snake drains, tubs, toilets, etc.
Electrical - Change lights, outlets, fixtures, and ballasts Drywall - Patch, replace, mud and match texture Appliance Repair - Installation and service of refrigerators, dishwashers, washers / dryers, and other appliances Qualifications : 2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance Able to lift 50+ pounds and be standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling frequently throughout the day Valid driver's license Own a vehicle and basic tools Solid work ethick Positive attitude Working Conditions : Position is full time Monday - Friday from 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm with a 30 minute lunch and two paid 15 minute breaks We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
