Soliant is seeking a compassionate and skilled School DHH Teacher to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL area. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Job Description : As a School DHH Teacher with Soliant, you will :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to promote student engagement and achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assess students' abilities and develop appropriate instructional strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field.
- Alabama State certification in Deaf Education.
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
