As a product leader, you’ll have the opportunity to help New Relic grow revenue both directly, through leading delivery of new customer-facing platform features, and indirectly by collaborating with other PMs and teams across the organization to provide the platform capabilities necessary to solve their customer problems.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with teams from some of the world’s best known products and brands, helping them to solve their most important observability challenges, so that they can eliminate interruptions and deliver reliable and delightful digital experiences to their customers.

What you'll do

  • You’ll work directly with customers to understand the business outcomes they are looking to drive, their challenges, and the role that observability can play in helping them achieve their goals.
  • As a product leader within the DIA group, you will collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales to solve customer problems, bring new capabilities to market, and drive business outcomes.
  • You’ll gather and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform product roadmaps and make feature, priority, and scoping decisions.
  • You will leverage your knowledge and understanding of our customers, business, and the competitive landscape to contribute to the medium and long-term vision and strategy for the platform group

This role requires

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, IT, business or related field
  • 2+ years experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product and / or engineering leadership role responsible for launching technical products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise way
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work across multiple teams and organizational boundaries to deliver on a business outcome

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with open source or commercial observability tools
  • Familiarity with cloud services
  • Experience with data analytics tools and technologies
  • Experience with SQL or other database query languages
  • Experience as a software engineer or architect
  • Familiarity with graphQL and / or RESTful APIs
