Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Aurora, IL, supporting students across K-12 settings. This is a contract role for the school year, providing specialized services within a diverse educational environment that includes general education, autism programs, emotional / behavioral support, and transition planning.

Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services to a broad caseload encompassing high school general education, early childhood and elementary autism, multi-needs, emotional disturbance / behavioral disorder, self-contained autism, and junior high autism programs.
  • Collaborating onsite or via virtual consult (VOCO) to support instructional teams and family members.
  • Conducting evaluations, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitoring student progress.
  • Adhering to state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License.
  • Experience working with diverse pediatric populations including K-12 students with varying communication needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and educators.
