09 / 30 / 2024 Two vacancies exist for a S peech & Language Pathologist to work within the Office of Student Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit ! These positions will primarily support the MCIU's Non Public schools and School Age K-12 classrooms and programs.
These positions are available starting the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech / Language Pathology
- Valid PA certification in Speech & Language Pathology
- Valid PA licensure in Speech & Language Pathology or eligible for licensure
- Experience with delivering speech services to a variety of school age children is preferred
- Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide direct service to students who present a variety of speech and language disorders
- Evaluate students in the areas of speech and language as needed
- Consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language
Location :
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and provide services to students in School Age K-12 and Non-Pub classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA.

Work Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours / day, 10 months (194 days / year)
2024-2025 Salary :
Bachelor's, Step 1 : $52,572 / year
Master's, Step 1 : $63,582 / year
Placement on salary schedule based on experience and / or education beyond the Master's Degree.
