Tax Senior Tax Senior

Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tax compliance and consulting projects for our clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations while providing strategic tax planning advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and fiduciary entities.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to provide sound tax advice and strategies to clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and communicate changes to clients.
  • Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service throughout the tax process.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members on tax compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA or EA certification is a plus.
