Hörmann is hiring for Production Assembly positions at our manufacturing facility located in Sumner, WA . This schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-230pm (OT when required)

Essential duties of this position :
- Assemble cartons
- Obtain and sort product
- Start, stop and regulate speed of conveyor
- Insert product into boxes from chute
- Weigh containers and check quality
- Seal, label and inspect package
- Store package on palette or stock
- Replenish hardware chutes as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
Education / experience :
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Skills / Knowledge Required :
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
This position involves standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. It requires grasping and fine manipulation on both hands.
The plant is not climate controlled. Noise levels can become high. Hörmann provides hearing protection in the department.
The work is done in an area where moving mechanical machinery, parts or vibration are located.
