POSITION SUMMARY : Piramal Pharma Solutions, located in Sellersville, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented S&OP Leader to join our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. This critical role Is responsible for driving a robust, forward-looking Sales & Operations Planning process within a 24-month horizon, enabling proactive decision-making and alignment across functions. This role combines analytical rigor, scenario-based planning, and cross-functional leadership to optimize demand, supply, and capacity, ensuring seamless execution and long-term business growth.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead the S&OP Process – Facilitate monthly S&OP cycle, including Pre-S&OP, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning. Build cross-functional consensus, ensure commitment to the Line of Sight (LOS), and align stakeholders around business objectives.
  • Scenario & Capacity Planning – Develop and evaluate trade-offs across multiple planning scenarios, balancing customer needs, capacity constraints, and financial commitments.
  • ERP & Data Utilization – Leverage SAP and other digital tools to automate planning, reporting, and supply chain processes while maintaining master data integrity. Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of KPIs.
  • Demand–Supply Balancing – Match demand and supply signals, adjusting production and resource plans to ensure optimal utilization of materials, assets, and manpower. Implement data-driven strategies to reduce forecast error and minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Raw Materials & Inventory Management – Accountable for running MRP to ensure 100% material availability against MPS and locked-in schedule, while controlling over-ordering, minimizing obsolescence, and safeguarding supply continuity.
  • Capacity & Resource Optimization – Identify potential shortages or excess capacity in advance, enabling timely actions to avoid production or customer service disruptions. Drive profitability by optimizing capacity utilization.
  • Risk & Contingency Planning – Maintain risk registers, mitigation strategies, and countermeasures to secure OTIF delivery and financial performance.
  • Insights & Reporting – Deliver reports and analytics on forecast accuracy, backorder, schedule adherence, capacity utilization, demand / supply gaps, and risks to execution, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement – Partner with cross-functional teams to drive productivity, cost efficiency, and innovation in planning and execution. Implement process improvements to reduce inventory write-offs and improve operational efficiency.

Educational and Professional Attainment :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Candidates with continuous education in supply chain, planning, or analytics, or equivalent qualifications by experience, are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma, or professional certificates in data analytics / Power BI, along with familiarity with AI / ML applications and advanced analytics, are highly desirable.
  • Job-Related Work Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, material planning, supply management, capacity / resource planning, production scheduling, project management and inventory management.
  • 2+ years of experience in S&OP / IBP processes, including scenario planning, trade-off facilitation, and financial analysis.
  • Proven experience in SAP / ERP planning, MRP, and digital tools development to support supply chain planning and decision-making.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, visualization, and risk / countermeasure management to optimize capacity, inventory, and supply chain performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes, solve problems, and align cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Track record of using data-driven approaches to reduce forecast error, minimize inventory write-offs, optimize reorder points and safety stock, and achieve 100% OTIF performance.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

    Knowledge :

  • Strong understanding of S&OP / IBP, demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory management.
  • Proficient in ERP / MRP systems (SAP) and digital planning / analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python).
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain KPIs, including inventory performance, and service levels.
  • Skills :

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and scenario planning skills.
  • Data visualization and reporting to monitor KPIs and support decision-making.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Abilities :

  • Effectively communicate and influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Lead process improvements, optimize capacity, and ensure demand-supply alignment.
  • Make data-driven decisions and manage complex supply chain challenges independently.
  • COMPLIANCE WITH POLICIES AND REGULATIONS :

  • Compliance with 21 CFR - Parts 210 / 211, EU Directives 91 / 356 / EEC and ICH Q7.
  • Work with Operations personnel to improve compliance.
  • Ensure work is in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, GMP, DEA, FDA, etc.
  • Assume responsibility for safety and knowing the appropriate emergency procedures in case of emergency.
