Job Overview : A recruiting firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney on behalf of a law firm in Arlington, TX.

This role involves providing legal counsel on various real estate matters, including litigation, transactions, and negotiations.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of real estate law experience, including litigation, and a strong understanding of land use, title insurance, and business law.

The attorney will work closely with clients to handle real estate disputes, draft legal documents, and provide guidance on complex property-related issues.

Duties :

  • Advise clients on real estate matters, including property transactions, zoning, disputes, and mortgage-related issues.
  • Represent clients in real estate litigation and court proceedings.
  • Draft contracts for the sale and transfer of property titles.
  • Prepare leases and lease amendments for residential and commercial properties.
  • Negotiate real estate agreements and settlements.
  • Write and file legal claims, motions, and court briefs related to real estate matters.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of real estate law experience, with a focus on litigation.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Familiarity with title insurance, land use regulations, and both residential and commercial real estate law.
  • Experience with case management software or willingness to learn.
  • Strong negotiation, research, and communication skills.
  • Ethical, accountable, and professional demeanor.

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications :

Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong client communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple real estate cases simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on meeting deadlines.
