As a member of the International Tax M&A team, you would be part of a group that advises multinational corporations, private equity firms and privately held companies on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, due diligence and executing M&A transactions.

RSM is looking for a dynamic International Tax Professional, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions, to join our expanding International Tax Practice.

As an M&A International Tax Senior, you be part of a team who will advise multinational corporations, privately equity firms, privately held companies, and partnerships on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, due diligence and executing M&A transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on delivering due diligence and tax structuring services, communicating findings and opportunities to clients
  • Assist in managing the international tax component of due diligence projects by participating on client calls, interviewing targets and their tax advisors, and assisting in coordinating local country RSM due diligence
  • Assist other senior members of the M&A Tax and International Tax practices on various cross border tax issues such as permanent establishment, corporate reorganizations, Section 367, Subpart F, and non-US direct and indirect tax issues

Basic Qualifications :

  • Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree or Law degree from an accredited college / university. Must be CPA exam or State Bar exam eligible
  • Requires a minimum of two (2+) years of international tax experience within a public accounting firm, a corporate tax department, or a law firm

Preferred Qualifications :

  • M&A experience is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements
  • Strong quantification and research and writing skills

Compensation Range : $104,200 - $209,600

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
