MaineHealth is currently seeking a part-time Outpatient Behavioral Health RN to assist with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients.
The RN is responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning and implementation. This is an in-person position in our Springvale, Maine Clinic.
This is a Monday - Friday day shift position with rotating day off. No weekends, no MaineHealth Holidays or on-call requirements.
Position Summary
Assists with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients. Responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning and implementation.
Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere, demonstrating the Values in Action with each interaction, at all times.
Performs tasks as required within their scope of practice, paying attention to detail and accuracy. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality.
The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education : BSN preferred.
- License / Certifications : Current RN licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required.
- Experience : At least two years' experience in related field preferred.
- The use and knowledge of computers, the knowledge of office procedures necessary, and routine laboratory procedures.
