The Opportunity
SSM Health Monroe Medical Group is actively recruiting for a full-time (1.0 FTE) optometrist at its Eye Clinics, located in Monroe, WI and Freeport, IL, will work collaboratively with our integrated SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean Eye Institute.
This position will work Monday-Friday. This is great opportunity to build a practice with an established patient base and specialty access on-site.
Our optometrists provide a high level of care to our complex patients, and partners with comprehensive ophthalmologists and other eye subspecialists (retina and pediatric ophthalmology) at that location.
Subspecialists in retina, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, cornea and oculoplastics are also located throughout our integrated eye network and are readily available for consults.
Ideal candidates are board certified in optometry. Newer graduates will be considered; residency trained preferred and board certification would need to be obtained within five years of hire.
