Job Title : Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Occupational Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 07AM - 03PM - 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours : N / A Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Valid Occupational Therapist license Certifications : N / A Must-Have : Experience with acute care rehabilitation services Job Description : - Perform initial and ongoing occupational therapy assessments of patients to establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care.
- Develop care plans that are appropriate to identified problems, involving the patient and family.- Execute therapy interventions using standard occupational therapy techniques and skills suited for the patient's condition.
- Supervise activities of occupational therapy assistants and other support personnel.- Collaborate with referring and consulting physicians, nursing personnel, and other healthcare professionals regarding the patient's progress, status, and ongoing recommendations.
