PositionOverview :
We are seeking aseasoned and strategic Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) tojoin our executive team. The VP of Finance will be responsible formanaging all financial operations providing strategic financialguidance and ensuring the companys financial health andsustainability.
KeyResponsibilities :
- FinancialStrategy : Develop and implement financial strategiesthat align with the companys overall businessobjectives.
- Financial Planningand Analysis : Oversee budgeting forecasting andfinancial analysis to support strategicdecisionmaking.
- FinancialReporting : Ensure accurate and timely financialreporting compliance with GAAP and other regulatoryrequirements.
- RiskManagement : Identify and manage financial risksensuring the companys assets areprotected.
- CapitalManagement : Oversee capital structure investmentstrategies and fundingrequirements.
- OperationalEfficiency : Drive operational efficiency and costmanagement initiatives to enhanceprofitability.
- Leadership : Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuousimprovement and professionaldevelopment.
- StakeholderRelations : Manage relationships with investors banksauditors and other financialstakeholders.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standardsincluding tax laws and corporategovernance.
- Mergers andAcquisitions : Provide financial due diligence andstrategic insights for mergers acquisitions and other businessopportunities.
- TechnologyIntegration : Oversee the implementation andmaintenance of financial systems andtechnology.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPApreferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience with atleast 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience inAgriculture Construction or Manufacture industryperferred.
Skills : Strong knowledge of financial management accounting principles andregulatory requirements. Excellent leadership communication andstrategic planning skills.
Proficiency in financial software andsystems.
Attributes : Strategic thinker resultsoriented and able to manage multiplepriorities. Strong analytical and decisionmakingabilities.
