About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration : Full-Time and Part-Time available Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : New Graduates welcome and willing to train;
2 years acute care hospital experience required; critical access hospital experience preferred. Must be clinically independent and have experience working with all age groups.
License : Current New Hampshire License / Registration Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or eligible for certification by National Board of Respiratory Care - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or must be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire Must-Have : - Participation in continuing education program - Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care Job Description : Be a valuable member of the healthcare team by demonstrating knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients.
- Provide age-appropriate care to a diverse patient population.- Demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as the standards of practice.
- Work with equipment such as Drager Ventilators, Zoll Transport Ventilator, Bipap V60, High Flow oxygen Vapotherm, and ABG Gem.
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system.- Participate in patient transport for a 25-bed rural hospital.- Be on call 2-3 nights per week and work every other weekend from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.
