Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Keep building in clean and sanitary condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, tables, door knobs, bathrooms, washing walls and glass.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Wipe down all high contact areas repeatedly throughout the day such as doors, tables, counters and appliances
Clean and supply restrooms
Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees
Empty trash in offices and shop area
Clean or mop tile and hard surface floors
Dust surface areas, lighting fixtures, ceiling corners, fans and baseboards
Restock break area supplies
Clean breakroom and kitchen area including microwaves, cabinet fronts and refrigerator
Perform other duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift
Must be able to lift / push / pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
Ability to adhere to safety policies
Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED Required
1-3 Years Cleaning or Janitorial Experience Preferred
