Turning Leaf - one of the Midwest's largest CBD and vapor retailers - is growing and expanding! We are looking for a qualified retail sales representative to provide our customers with outstanding service.
We are excited for our future as we will begin offering products with our customers overall wellness in mind. For many, quitting smoking in favor of vaping is just the first step in their wellness journey.
As we have found with hemp and kratom products, adult consumers prefer alternative wellness options.
A great candidate will have strong communication skills who knows how to delight customers and make them feel welcome and respected.
A positive and friendly attitude is a must. Our retail sales representatives must ensure that every customer leaves our store satisfied and eager to visit again.
Retail sales representatives are also responsible for directly supporting store managers and regional managers, as well as all store-level initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers and meet or exceed target metric objectives
- Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes)
- Operate cash drawer, performing basic math, counting back change amounts, and verifying cash and credit amounts
- Conduct inventory and report accurate variances
- Attend weekly meetings
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for other team members
- Responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and organization in accordance with company’s standards and expectations
- Properly follow all company policies and procedures and report concerns to upper management
- Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs
- Analyze customer behavior and adjust sales strategies and merchandising in-store
- Address and resolve customer complaints and grievances
- Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation
- Verify store security at closing by checking for locked doors, locked safes, and set alarms
Requirements
- Ability to stand / walk for long periods of time
- Comfortable picking up and carrying boxes up to 50 lbs.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus
- Familiarity with visual merchandising
- Ability to stock and restock shelves
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good organization skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment
