Position : Employment Law Senior Litigation Attorney
Location : Woodland Hills, CA
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Senior Employment Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil lawsuits and providing legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual with a passion for the law.
Duties :
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation proceedings
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Prepare witnesses for testimony and conduct depositions
- Review and analyze legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management
Skills :
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively represent clients' interests
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive legal research using Lexis-Nexis or similar resources
- Excellent legal drafting skills to prepare accurate and persuasive legal documents
- Ability to litigate cases in court with confidence and professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex legal concepts
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor () degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in California
- Must have experience in employment litigation defense law
- Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation cases
