Our power generation client is looking for a Generator Technician to join the team in the Garner, NC area. Candidates may reside in Garner, NC, Clayton, NC, Washington, NC or the eastern side of Raleigh, NC.
This will be a remote role, you will dispatch from your home to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial generator sets and electrical equipment.
Other responsibilities Include : -Preventative maintenance services-Troubleshooting of Automatic Transfer Switches , AC, AD circuits, diesel / gas engines, injection systems, ignition components and more -Following manufactures warranty guidelines -Perform start ups on new generator systems-Change oil and filters-Ensure units are in proper operating conditions and follow code requirements -Work in teams with other technicians Requirements : -3 years of power generation experience OR a mechanical or electrical background coupled with at least 1 year of experience in power generation-High diploma required -Military background encouraged -Must have a valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record-Demonstrated excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, reflecting strong communication and problem-solving abilities
