Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) Diagnostic Tests sales team. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience in lateral flow diagnostics and a proven ability to manage and grow a sales team.
This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth, and developing strategies to expand market presence
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets for LFA diagnostic products.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and work closely with the marketing team to penetrate new markets.
- Oversee and mentor the LFA diagnostic sales team, ensuring targets are met and team performance is optimized.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide continuous coaching and performance management to ensure success.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the diagnostic sector, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand, set quotas, and inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with R&D, product management, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product features, pricing, and market positioning.
- Monitor competitors and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the diagnostic industry.
Requirements :
- 6+ years of experience in sales roles, specifically within the LFA diagnostic / medical devices sector
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in medical or diagnostic fields are a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing and building high-performing sales teams, with at least 3 years in a senior sales management role.
- Deep understanding of LFA diagnostic tests, their applications, and the competitive landscape in the diagnostics industry.
- Ability to interpret sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to develop actionable strategies.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive, technical sales environment.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for diagnostic tests in different markets.
