JOBSUMMARY
This is anoutside sales position responsible for promoting the company'sproducts and services and for building relationships with new andexisting accounts.
The main focus is to help Sysco customerssucceed while achieving sales and profit goals established by thecompany. This position may require working some non-traditionalhours (evening, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meetcustomers'needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Developnew business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lostbusiness to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectiveswithin assignedterritory.
Seek and qualifyprospects following company account stratificationgoals.
Research customerbusiness needs and develops a mix of products and service to meetneeds.
Evaluate markettrends and recommend products to customers, based on business needsand goals.
Be informed ofmarket conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products,prices, and sales; share information with customers as part ofvalue-added servicesprovided.
Answer customers'questions about products, prices, availability, and productuse.
Provide productinformation and practical training to customerpersonnel.
Drive personalvehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings,etc.
Communicate and collectaccounts receivable as necessary, working with the creditdepartment and client; collect all balances due based on approvedcredit terms.
Managedeliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportationdepartment; troubleshoot any problems that occur during the orderprocess (for example, out of stock items, special order items, lowinventory,etc.).
Participate incompany functions, promotions, customer visits, and customerevents.
Attend andparticipate in general sales and districtmeetings.
Engage in ongoingtraining sessions.
Assistwith the training of new employees asrequested.
Review andanalyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests,customer bid files, and sales / gross profit margindata.
Perform administrativeduties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintainingsales records, processing credits, and pick-up requests, preparingsales quotes and menu suggestions, and filingreports.
Other duties may beassigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
RequiredEducation / Experience
Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts orrelated discipline OR HSD / GED and 3 yearsRestaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience ,or equivalent relatableexperience.

Certificates,Licenses, andRegistrations
Validdriver's license with a "clean" driving record (including nomultiple DUIs within the last 2years)
Current automobileinsurance with the following limits of liability : Bodily injury -$100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident;
property damage -$100,000 isrequired

Reside or willingto relocate to the geographical vicinity ofterritory.
