Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a reputable school district in Covallis, Oregon.
This exciting opportunity is for a full-time, onsite position, providing invaluable support to students for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional skills to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure effective communication and optimal student outcomes
- Conduct therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and modalities to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in meetings and consultations with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to provide recommendations and support for students' overall development
Requirements :
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques for children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must be able to work onsite at the designated school location
