Senior Mechanical Project Engineering

What You'll Do :
- Supervise mechanical engineers and other staff.
- Assist engineers to identify areas for technical and career development.
- Partner with manager to develop engineering department through leadership, training and continuous improvement.
- Manage several on-going projects concurrently, including staffing, workload issues, and meeting project timelines.
- Design mechanical equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for leading cross-functional technical teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects.
- Assist with the successful management of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Engineering Management or MBA degree desirable.
- FE Exam OR EIT preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years leading technical projects.
Skills You'll Have :
- Experienced with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD).
- Breadth and depth of experience with automation products, services, and the industry.
- Ability to identify systemic issues to improve department efficiency.
- Experience leading technical projects.
Other Details :
- Travel up to 20% to customer sites & other JR locations.
- Negotiate critical issues with internal and customer engineers and leaders.
- Conduct presentations and may participate in media interviews.
- Lead teams and influence project direction and progress.
- Serve as a technical expert and leader in the department.
