This role will oversee a set of accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial information in accordance with US GAAP.
This person will lead key financial reporting activities, including monthly close process, preparation of monthly consolidated balance sheets, income statements and other internal and external reporting schedules.
This person will also lead the annual audits of our joint ventures, provide technical accounting guidance, and assist FP&A and the Division CFO with the review of the monthly results.

Monthly Close Process
- Participate in month end close process for OIS while working closely with the other OIS Accounting Manager
- Responsible for the following activities, but not limited to, during month end close : debt, cash, intercompany activities, investment in subs and allocations
- Analyze data or information by identifying any problems and / or issues and work with the corporate departments and / or operations to resolve
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations prepared monthly
Financial Reporting / Technical Accounting
- Prepare monthly financial statement for OIS and joint ventures as well as any reporting packages
- Lead the audit of the joint venture financial statements
- Explain financial results to stakeholders which includes but not limited to : Division CFO, Joint Ventures, Corporate Accounting and FP&A.
Other Responsibilities
- Indirect tax activities at the Division level
- Assist in development of accounting policies and procedures and provide guidance to corporate department and operating companies
- Liaison with Corporate Accounting on intercompany activity, new procedures and other special projects
- Complete ad hoc tasks such as reporting, calculations and research or report information to corporate departments as needed
- Work closely with finance to achieve company reporting goals
- Manage 2 direct reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE :
Education / Licensing / Certification :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related discipline
- Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification required or CPA Candidate
Experience (years and type) :
- 1-2 years of management experience
- 4-5 years of public and private experience with exposure to complex accounting issues, technical research, and strong US GAAP knowledge
- Proven ability to effectively communicate accounting guidance, resolve issues, and partner with non-accounting colleagues to review and provide accounting guidance
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to drive projects to successful completion
- Ability to multi-task and meet designated deadlines
