Job Description

Description

Assists in the training and supervision of departmental personnel. Helps to determine that existing and new laboratory procedures are dependable, performed efficiently and reported properly.

Effects improvements, insures quality of apparatus and equipment and materials when directed. Helps to maintain efficient record systems and performs related duties in the best interests of laboratory services to patients.

Maintains compliance with all federal, state and accrediting organization regulations.

Education

Bachelors Degree : Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry (Required)

Experience

3 Years experience in relevant laboratory section (Required)

License / Certifications

ASCP - Amer Soc Clinical Pathology (Preferred)

AMT - Amer Medical Technologists (Preferred)
