This challenging and fast paced position will require a personable candidate with experience in the design of electrical distribution systems, power systems and lighting systems for commercial and educational facilities including branch circuit and feeder calculations, equipment specification and emergency power system layout.
The candidate should have strong inter-personal skills. An aggressive, client oriented personality with a knack for creative problem solving will succeed in this position.
Your Impact :
- Prepare and oversee electrical power system design having single line diagrams, wiring and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design.
- Coordinate designs and drawings needed for plant electrical systems to meet applicable standards and codes.
- Review supplier drawings conforming with specifications plus dimensional compatibility along with assemblies and components.
- Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and fellow electrical engineers to design required coordinated designs.
- Develop accurate and precise product designs that comply with drafting and company standards.
- Review and coordinate vendor design documents review to ensure comply to design requirements.
- Provide quality assurance checks of electrical, control detail engineering and design project deliverables.
- Compare project budgets along with schedules to coordinate multidiscipline groups.
Here's What You'll Need :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
- 3+ years of work experience with an engineering consultant.
- Proficient in Revit 2021 / 2022 and AutoCAD design software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy

- Professional Engineering License "PE" in California.

- Experience working with "DSA" - Division of State Architects.

The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity.
We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

$89,888.00 - $134,832.00
