Choice Financial Group has been identified as one of the fastest-growing companies and is seeking an experienced training and development coordinator.

This role involves devising our organizational training strategy, overseeing its implementation, and assessing its outcomes.

You will be able to identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives to build the agency's loyalty.

Your responsibility will be to enhance employees' skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.

As a Training and Development Coordinator at Choice Financial Group, you will play a crucial role in our success. Your primary responsibilities and essential functions include :

  • Working with the management team to build workflows that support the agency's success
  • Working with each functional area to build an onboarding, integration, and training program to support the development of new and existing staff
  • Perform training in various settings, including group, online, and one-on-one.
  • Assist each functional area in developing individual employees and providing quality assurance measurements and targeted training
  • Build external training programs to support our referral sources, including CE programs and other training that can add value to our referring partners
  • Assist in structuring the agency management system to support our target workflows and reporting
  • Other project management, such as assisting with integrating the Epic Agency Management System with other functions associated with our merger partners
  • Attending the Annual AMS Conference and remaining up to date on capabilities
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate the training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
  • Support Culture Committee, events planning, and budget
  • Support and train on various systems, including Netchex, Epic, DocuSign, RSign, and Easy Links Rater
  • Ability to create marketing and training communications

Job Applicant Must Exhibit the Following Skills :

  • Knowledge of Applied Epic, Netchex, and RSign and broad knowledge of insurance products and markets
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A college degree or equivalent is desirable, and a P&C or insurance knowledge license is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a high level of service skills
  • A high level of autonomy and work ethic
  • Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and database software
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Good knowledge of talent management and succession planning methods

Education :

Bachelor's degree in any related field preferred or an equivalent of 3+ years' experience in training

Experience & Additional Competencies :

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a training manager reporting directly to senior management
  • The ability to measure and assess staff training needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Required :

Must be articulate and familiar with insurance (Property & Casualty)
